The Maternity and Infant Care Scheme is a free service provided to all expectant mothers.
We are delighted to be able to offer you a full childhood vaccination service.
The National Cervical Screening Programme provides free smear tests to women aged 25 to 60
We offer a confidential and discreet screening service for sexually transmitted infections.
A range of family planning services is available (coil insertion/Implanon not offered presently).
A “full health check” and highlight areas that need to be looked at given your stage in life.
A 24 hour blood pressure monitor is an accurate method of diagnosing high blood pressure (hypertension).
A programme in which we aim to help you manage your diabetes effectively so that you can maximise your health and enjoy feeling as well as possible.
Cryotherapy is used to treat and remove a variety of benign skin conditions, like warts, verrucae, skin tags and other lesions.
If you are planning to travel abroad, you should schedule a travel vaccine consultation well in advance of your trip.

We also recognise the need to respond to the demands of our patients as quickly as possible. We endeavour to provide an efficient service dealing quickly and accurately with your needs. At Merrion Gates Medical Centre we practise evidence-based medicine and the management of our patients is always based on the most up-to-date clinical knowledge.
