Merrion Gates Medical Centre aims to provide excellent, expert GP health care to our patients across the full range of general practice and family medicine services, in a friendly and caring environment.

Dr. Sarah Carty

Dipl. Med Ed (NUIG)

Dr. Sarah Carty graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 1999 and completed her specialist training in General Practice in Edinburgh in 2003. Dr. Carty has been working at the Merrion Gates Medical Centre since 2005. She is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate GP training and is a GP trainer with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). Dr. Carty has a special interest in medicine for the elderly, women’s health and is involved in teaching RCSI medical students. She has been an examiner with the ICGP since 2010.
Dr. Enda Ryan
MB MRCPI MRCGP
Dipl. in Child Health (DCH)

Dr. Enda Ryan graduated from Trinity in 1997. He spent several years training in internal medicine before changing to general practice. Dr. Ryan completed his GP training and joined the practice on the Merrion Road on his return from the UK in 2006. He is a member of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practice. Dr. Ryan has a diploma in Child Health (DCH). Special interests: Men’s health, Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease and prevention.
